At CHF 1'200.–, is it really the page already presented?
Yes. It is the page you have just read, in the state in which you read it, with its texts and its design. You acquire it as it stands, not a promise of a page to come.
What is a consolidated round of feedback?
Your remarks, gathered once and sent together, so that they are treated in a single pass. A new graphic direction, or a widening of the scope, is quoted separately.
How is the site put online?
Your provider integrates the page and sets it up at your web address, within their budget. The files handed over include the page, its styles, the visuals, the SEO and AEO elements, and the note for the provider.
When can SEO start?
The page you have read is kept out of search results during our exchange. The preparation is aimed at the version published at your web address, once it is online.
How do I confirm a package?
By a quotation that states the scope, the schedule, the price excl. and incl. VAT, the payment terms and the conditions of use of the files. The order is placed by your agreement on that quotation.
How are texts and images used?
Your content is the raw material. Facts and visuals are validated with you before publication; sources and licences are indicated; the authorisations for the photographs are confirmed.
Can we go further?
Yes, when a precise question arises about the future of the house. That work is quoted after the interview, and it never appears on the page you have read.
SEO
Being found when someone searches for what you do.
Search engine optimisation, also called organic search: the work that makes a page readable and relevant for search engines, without paying for advertising. The position itself belongs to the engines; no package guarantees it.
AEO
Being quoted when an assistant answers a question.
Answer engine optimisation: the same fundamentals as SEO, aimed at the answer engines that now reply to questions. The page is written so that it can serve as a reliable source. Google states that no special markup is required for its generative search features; citations remain the engines' decision.
Indexation and noindex
A page can be in the results, or kept out of them.
Indexation is the moment a search engine adds a page to its results. The preview you have read carries a noindex instruction so that it stays out of the results during our exchange; that instruction is removed when the page goes online at your address.
Metadata
The title and the sentence shown in the results.
The title displayed in the results and the browser tab, and the description written underneath, both written for the page.
Heading structure
One clear hierarchy, from the main title down.
A single main title, then sections in order, so that a machine as well as a reader can tell what is essential and what is detail.
Alternative text
What a photograph shows, written for those who cannot see it.
A short description attached to each image, read by screen readers, and used by search engines to understand the visual content.
Schema.org markup
An identity card for the company, written for machines.
A structured description of the activity (name, address, founding year, addresses) added to the page, only from data you have validated.
Sharing information (Open Graph)
What appears when the link is shared.
The title, the description and the image displayed when the page is pasted into a message or a social network.
Handover note
What your provider needs, written down.
A short document describing the files, the styles, the images and the settings to apply, together with the 30-minute handover.
Web address and provider
The address, and the person who operates it.
The web address is what one types to reach the site; the provider hosts it and integrates the page. The two are distinct, and both remain yours.
Excl. VAT
Prices are stated without tax.
The service is provided from France. Any Swiss VAT falls to the recipient company, under the reverse charge mechanism. The exact terms are stated in the quotation.
